The constitution entitles a defendant to a “fair trial,” not a “perfect” trial. Mistakes frequently occur during the trial process, and some of those mistakes are so egregious that reversible error occurs. It is important to consult with an appellate practitioner to determine if an appeal or habeas petition should be filed to correct the errors made during trial, and possibly obtain a new trial.
If you or someone you know needs an appellate practitioner, Larenda Delaini Law is here to help. Contact us for answers to any questions you may have an see how we can advocate for you.
